“The Committee has nothing suspicious and objection against the said individuals. It is unfortunate that the good image of the KNO president, Tengnoupal District Administrator, Tribe and CVO leaders have been badly damaged due to the concocted and baseless charge levelled by a non-SOO militant group,” the release stated.

It also appealed to all individuals, CV0s and militant groups to retrain from issuing such baseless statement in the future.
