VACC NH-37 lauds Union Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda

Village Authority Chairmen Council (VACC) NH-37, Tousem appreciated Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda for conveying Chief Minister N Biren Singh to relocate the freedom fighter padmashree Rani Gaidinliu Museum to a suitable location from the proposed site at Makhel in Mao Maram Tehsil, Senapati district.

The statement issued by general secretary of the council, T John Gangmei said that Arun Munda also endorsed to construct the museum at the birth place of Rani Gaidinliu which is Luangkao village of Tousem sub-division, Tamenglong district. The museum will be named as ‘Rani Gaidinliu Tribal Woman Freedom Fighter Museum’, he added.

"We shall succour and give every possible assistance to the authority concerned for the said museum without any hindrance or claim whatsoever,” John said.

"We also request the state government to kindly expedite the matter. We trust the leadership of chief minister N Biren as he has made remarkable changes and development in the interest of the people of the state particularly the tribal community,” he added.
