Nagaland's COVID-19 caseload increases to 11,418; recovered cases 10,658

The number of active cases stood at 576, of which 352 patients are under home isolation.

Nagaland's COVID-19 caseload increased to 11,418 as 39 more persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus, while the number of recovered cases stood at 10,658 with five recoveries on Monday, the state health department said.

The new cases, according to the latest COVID-19 updates, were from Kohima- 23, Tuensang- 9, Dimapur- 6, Kiphire- 1.

While the five new recoveries were from Kohima, the number of active cases stood at 576, of which 352 patients are under home isolation.

Among the confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state, 4589 are armed forces/security personnel, 1,790 are returnees/travellers, 4,486 traced contacts and 553 frontline workers, the state health department said.

Nagaland has so far recorded 59 deaths, of which seven deaths of COVID-19 patients are not related to COVID, and three deaths are under investigation. A total of 115 COVID-19 cases have migrated to other states, it added.

As many as 1,14,809 samples have been tested as on November 7.
