BSF pays befitting tributes to martyr Paotinsat Guite

BSF stated that Paotinsat made supreme sacrifice and attained martyrdom while fighting against the Pakistan trained militants and Pakistan Army during an infiltration attempt and attack on the BSF post deployed on the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri Sector, Jammu and Kashmir on December 1.

The Border Security Force (BSF) paid befitting tribute to martyr Sub Inspector Paotinsat Guite of 59 Battalion Border Security Force (BSF) by organising a wreath laying ceremony at his native village Maphou Kuki on Friday.

A statement issued by PRO Headquarter BSF stated that Paotinsat made supreme sacrifice and attained martyrdom while fighting against the Pakistan trained militants and Pakistan Army during an infiltration attempt and attack on the BSF post deployed on the Line of Control (LOC) in Rajouri Sector, Jammu and Kashmir on December 1.

Commandant officiating DIG Manipur Sector Hidam Shubol Singh, led the ceremony with the BSF guard of honour. Officiating Commandant Vikash Kumar and Awadesh Kumar 2IC company commander of 182 Battalion along with the troops of the battalion also attended the function and offered their last respect and befitting tribute to the gallant martyr.

Officials from the state along with a large number of villagers from the surrounding villages of Maphou Kuki also offered their prayer and tribute to the martyr during the ceremony.
