The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has invited eligible teachers of the state to apply for Chingu Maichou Khongnang Thaba Khonga (CHI MA KHA Khonga) Award 2021.
DESAM publicity and propaganda secretary Sh Rishikumar Sharma stated in a release that DESAM has been giving CHI MA KHA Khonga Award every year to the most dedicated teachers who perform their service with sacrificial spirit.
The award ceremony will be held on the 19th foundation day of DESAM which falls on January 3. The teachers of both private and government schools can apply for the award on or before December 20 along with their necessary documents, the release added.
While stating about the documents to be submitted, it said that applicants should enclose their bio-data along with a recommendation letter from the head of their respective schools, local clubs and concerned Zonal Education officer or DI. A cash award of Rs 5,000 will be given to the deserving teachers along with citation and shawl, it added.
