The retired DSP Md Abdul Latif was arrested on April, 2018 from his residence based on disclosure of one Manjil Ahmed Lasker who was arrested by a team of Assam Rifles at Kaimei check post on April 10, 2018 for illegal transportation of 1lakh WY tablet (weighing around 11.34kg) in his Force Cruiser vehicle.
