SBI to remain closed for 48 hours as 12 employees got Coronavirus

Twelve employees of the State Bank of India tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday

State Bank of India, MG Avenue Imphal will remain closed for 48 hours with immediate effect after 12 employees of the bank tested COVID positive on Thursday.

Deputy commissioner Imphal west Naorem Praveen Singh ordered on thursday that the entire office premises of  the bank shall be closed down for 48 hours with immediate effect as it has been  reported that 12 (twelve) employees of  the bank tested COVID positive.

The deputy commissioner directed all the primary contacts of the positive persons to report to the District Surveillance Officer, Imphal West District for necessary contact tracing.

Further the deputy commissioner also directed the manager of the bank to disinfect the entire office premises as per the SOP before resuming office.
