The United Forum of BSNL Employees Union and Associations Manipur on Saturday staged a sit-in protest against the brutal killing of its Junior Telecom Officer, G Surajkumar Sharma, who was allegedly shot dead by his uncle G Molecule.

Briefing the media during the protest, one of the staff, Sashikanta said that the state government should arrest the alleged murderer at the earliest and should be given punishment as per law.
He said that the state government should set an exemplary punishment to the accused so that such incidents do not happen again in the future. Sashikanta further said that the association will soon be submitting a memorandum to the state government.
