JNN celebrates 16th foundation day

Founder editor of JNN, Romeo Moirangthem said that JNN as a media house has been working tirelessly in providing media service to the state and particularly Jiribam district, which is one of the backward districts in the state.

Jiri News Network (JNN) celebrated its 16th foundation day on Friday at the conference hall of JNN, Jiribam district by maintaining strict COVID-19 SOPs.

The function was attended by general secretary of All Jiribam United Clubs Association (AJUCA), N Dharmendra Meitei; resident editor of JNN, Premkumar Kshetri; and social worker, M Brojen Singh as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Founder editor of JNN, Romeo Moirangthem in his welcome address said that the media has been playing its part in bringing transformations to society. JNN as a media house has been working tirelessly in providing media service to the state and particularly Jiribam district, which is one of the backward districts in the state, he added.

Dharmendra Meitei stressed on the vast roles of media and media persons and also gave his opinion that media houses should work without partiality and in the right way.

Premkumar Kshetri said that he had faced many hardships while working as a correspondent in the state, however, so far he is quite satisfied to be a media person.
