ADC candidate of 21-Sangaikot constituency, Thangkholal Baite on Thursday declared his decision move to contest the coming ADC election on Congress ticket against Henkhopau Haokip who is likely to contest on BJP ticket.

Thangkholal made the declaration while attending as chief guest at the B Salvaphai Village Silver Jubilee Tournament 2020, organised by BSYC.

After lighting the tournament torch, he said that he appreciates the chief of B Salvaphai, Jamsei for organising the silver jubilee tournament.

While exhorting the players to carry on with talents in football, he said that if he is elected as MDC, he will open a football academy in the area. He also asked the four division of Sangaikot sub-division to select a team who will be given training from his expenses latest by this month.

The ADC candidate also assured the people of Sangaikot that a free and fair election will be held. He continued that as of now there are two candidates to contest but chances are high that there will be four candidates. He also said that he is confident of winning the ADC election.
