The Socialist Students’ Union of Manipur (SSUM) on Wednesday sealed the main entrance of the Manipuri department and vice-chancellor office of the Manipur University (MU) over irregularities in the entrance examination of Manipuri department.

In connection with the finding of irregularities in the entrance examination of Manipuri department held on November 2, executives of SSUM met several times with the vice-chancellor (in-charge), registrar and HOD of Manipuri department. However, the meeting were unable to bring any positive solution, said secretary general of SSUM, Bhushan Longjam while speaking to the media.
