Tamenglong police led by OC, Th Dominique destroyed 87 litres of seized liquors near Rani Gaidinliu Woman Market in Tamenglong town in the presence of Rongmei Naga Youth Organisation members and media persons.

Speaking to media persons, Dominique said that police have raided some houses as a part of the precaution measures amid surging of COVID-19 positive cases in Tamenglong and to prevent unwanted incidents as festive seasons are arriving.

He said that the police team will continue to raid more houses and keep vigil to check unauthorised liquor business in the district. He also urged everyone to support and cooperate with the police personnel while fighting against illicit drug activities.
