The office of the Manipur Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) condoled the sudden demise of G Nabakanta Sharma, Rifleman, Rfn. No. 11201011013 of Adhoc Coy A (UID-1411). He was deputed for election duty in Bihar on October 31 at Patna Medical College Hospital (Tata Emergency Ward),. He passed away while discharging election duty in connection with the General Election to the State Legislative Assembly of Bihar, 2020.
The message said that, “We extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences at his sudden demise. We pay homage to the departed soul and pray to the Almighty to bestow eternal peace upon his soul and give enough courage to the bereaved members of family at this hour, bear the great loss. May his departed soul rest in peace forever.”
All the Election Party of MR/ IRB of Manipur Police who were detailed for Assembly Elections in Bihar also extended their condolence at the sudden demise of rifleman G Nabakanta Sharma, said a statement issued by Th. Deshorjit Singh, MPS, Dy. CO 8th MR and presently posted as Adhoc CO of the Bihar Election Party in Bihar .
The CO also thanked their senior officers, ADGP (AP)/SNPO, Kailun, IPS and IGP (Ops) E. Priyoukumar, IPS, the CEO office, Bihar, CRPF, Bihar, the District Police and administration Patna/Siwan for rendering “valuable” services in transportation of the departed soul within no time after the completion of formalities to his native place Yairipok Bishnunaha for the final rituals.
The untimely demise will certainly create a huge void in the family, "We the Bihar Election Party 2020 share our deep respect," the statement added.
