Salai investors tear down NEIDP flag, banner to vacate office building

Prior notice to vacate the office was sent to the NEIDP president on October 1 by managing director of Salai Construction Private Ltd

Investors of Salai Holdings and Private Ltd tore down North East India Development Party’s (NEIDP) flag and sign board from its state party office located at Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak, Imphal on Thursday.

It is said that d, Elangbam Brojendro Singh within 15 days. The office building of the construction company located at Sagolband Tera Sapam Leirak has been occupied by NEIDP and in order to continue functioning and executing official works of the construction company the notice was sent.

On October 13, a reminder letter to vacate the building was sent to the party president.

Speaking to the media, one of the investors told that the company had earlier assured to pay back monthly interest amount from November 1. But due to lack of working place, the process is being delayed.

As per the notice sent to the political party by the company, the deadline has already ended but the company failed to vacate the office building occupied by the political party. To continue office work and resume giving of monthly interest, the investors tore down the party flag and signboard of NEIDP asking them to vacate the place, the investor added.

When this reporter tried to meet the managing director of the company, the reporter was told by one of the staff that he does not want to give any comment on the present issue.
