AMMSO Pusam Zabed Ahamad said in a release that the admission selection list will not be acceptable as names of many non-OBC Meitei Pangal students were included in the list of OBC Meitei Pangal. It is a sign of disrespecting the Meitei Pangal, it said.

Noting that the prospectus of the university informed of following state reservation policy, it sought clarification from the university and the government why the university is not giving four percent reservation for OBC Meitei Pangal.

It also cautioned that AMMSO will take up different forms of agitation with the public if the four percent reservation for OBC Meitei Pangal is not implemented in this admission session.
