Manipur Police continues COVID awareness campaign

As a part of Jan Andolan - Covid Appropriate Behaviour rallies, awareness campaigns are being carried out across the state.

The “Jan Andolan for COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour” awareness campaign of Manipur Police continued on Monday.

Imphal West district police in association with Meira Paibis, women vendors and members of Nagar Panchayat of Sekmai conducted “COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour” campaign with a rally and poster campaign on Monday.

In Imphal East district, an awareness rally was organised by Imphal East district police starting from Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal and passing through Andro Parking, Palace Gate, Nongmeibung, Ananda Crossing, New Checkon, Hatta Golapati and Tellipati.

During the campaign, police appealed to wear masks and to maintain social distance and urged the public to adhere to SOP guidelines failing which appropriate penalty under Manipur Epidemic Diseases Regulation 2020 can be enforced.
