A team of Bishnupur district commando arrested a lady drug smuggler with WY tablets in her possion from Meitram on Thursday.

The smuggler has been identified as Leirichon Tangkhul, 37, wife of late Hormathing from Mantripukhri opposite Mother Teresa Home under the jurisdiction of Heingang police station.
She was arrested with 13,780 WY tablets by the said police team in front of Brilliance Academy, Meitram Awang along NH-150 (Tiddim Road).

Police reported that the arrested along with the seizures have been handed over to Nambol police station for further investigation.
