Manipur Chief Minister N Biren has reportedly assured to fulfill the demands made by the Jiribam District Hospital Monitoring Committee.
The five representatives of the committee led by its convener N Sadananda met the chief minister on Saturday. The 40 minute-long talk with Biren was also attended by local Jiribam MLA, Md Ashab Uddin. During the meeting, the committee has submitted a memorandum that contains nine points of demands.
According to Sadananda, Biren said that all the demands made by the committee are valid and assured that at least 80 per cent of the demands will be taken care of.
Biren will have a consultation meeting with the health commissioner, health director and CMO of Jiribam to discuss the matter of shortages in the district hospital of Jiribam and in accordance to that the authority concerned will take up positive action, said Sadananda.
