The Manipur Directorate for Welfare of Other Backward Classes and SCs has notified that the list of tentative eligible OBC students for award of OBC Post Matric Scholarship (2nd Phase, 2335 numbers of students) for the year 2019-20 can be seen in the directorate’s website: www.manipurobcsc.gov.in and e-disbursement will be subject to release of fund by the Union Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry.

As per direction of the state government, no visitor will be allowed to enter the directorate’s office in order to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19, it stated. It further said that for claim and objection, a clear copy of corrected bank passbook or cancelled cheque along with Registration ID and Aadhaar may be submitted to e-mail id mobc-scholarships@googlesgroups.com indicating the notification number (No.A/PM-2/OBC-2019/431) and date (October 8, 2020) on the subject of the mail.

The last date for filing claim and objection is on or before October 30, after which no further complaint will be entertained, it added.
