A Covid-19 positive patient in Tamenglong delivered a healthy 3.6 kg baby girl at 8.46 pm Tuesday, hospital sources said.

The patient is the first Covid positive pregnant woman to give birth at the District Hospital Tamenglong, isolation ward.
Dr Jenny Gonmei and her team delivered the baby. Both the mother and the baby girl are said to be stable as per the hospital sources.

Meanwhile, Tamenglong on Tuesday reported eight new Covid-19 positive cases.
