Newly inducted minister, Thokchom Satyabrata has promised the people of Yaiskul assembly constituency to work with maximum efforts for development works taken up in the constituency.
Satyabrata who was recently elevated as cabinet minister and allocated the portfolios of CAF and PD, Law and Legislative Affairs, Labour and Employment, was felicitated on Saturday by Build Your Success (BYS) at Hanjabam Leirak Community Hall, Thangapat, Imphal.
Speaking at the occasion, Satyabrata said that elevating him to the cabinet rank is an act of showing gratitude to the people of Yaiskul assembly constituency by Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
“Though it is not possible to solve all the grievances of the people, I will work at my best level to fulfil the wish of the public,” he promised.
He also cautioned the public to stay alert from people who step into the world of politics for business.
While pointing out that Thangapat is associated with the history of Manipur, BYS advisor, Y Nandakumar also drew attention of the minister to develop the lake into a tourist spot.
