Mizoram's COVID-19 tally rose to 1,986 after 28 new positive cases were recorded on Tuesday, official sources said.

"28 new positive cases detected on 29.9.2020. ZMC RT-PCR positive: 13 cases, TrueNAT positive: 2 cases, Rapid Antigen Test positive: 13 cases," DIPR Mizoram posted on Twitter Wednesday morning.
With the detection of the new positive cases, the number of COVID-19 active cases increased to 410 while the number of recovered cases stands at 1,576.

While no COVID-19 related death has been reported in the state so far, two are migrated cases, the DIPR said.
