All India Football Federation Awards: AMFA lauds Ajitkumar Meitei, Ratanbala Devi for bringing laurels to Manipur
L Ajitkumar Meitei and N Ratanbala Devi won the AlFF Best Referee and AIFF Emerging Women’s Footballer 2019-20 of India. The awards were announced on Friday.
The All Manipur Football Association has heaped praises on referee L Ajitkumar Meitei and women footballer N Ratanbala Devi for winning AIFF Best Referee and AIFF Emerging Women’s Footballer 2019-20 of India.
The awards were announced by the All India Football Federation on Friday with L Ajitkumar Meitei and N Ratanbala Devi bringing top honour to the state.
The All Manipur Football Association in a statement said tha judging by his officiating prowees in the ISL, I-League, Champions Cup, Second Division I-League and other assignment, the AIFF had awarded L Ajitkumar Meitei with the Best Referee title. The AMFA is very proud to have such excellent referee to bring more laurels to the state.
AIFF Men’s Footballer of the Year was claimed by Gurpreet Singh Sandhu and Women’s Player of the Year title was bagged by Sanju. Emerging Men’s Footballer title was fetch by Anirudh Thapa.
The best Assistant Referee award was conferred to P. Vaira Muthu from Tamil Nadu and the award for Best Grassroots Development Programme went to West Bengal.
Central midfielder N. Ratanbala Devi, who is a regular feature in the Indian team has shown tremendous capability for the country in International competition. She is also instrumental in giving the champion title to Sethu FC of Tamil Nadu in the Indian Women’s League.
The AMFA is indebted to both the professionals for making the state proud and lifting to its glory and wish them more success in the future.
