Assam Rifles man from Delhi admitted at quarantine centre in Imphal

One Assam Rifle personnel who came from Delhi to Imphal by flight was admitted at a quarantine centre in Imphal after he was found hanging outside the airport with his luggage, police sources said on Sunday.

One Assam Rifle personnel who came from Delhi to Imphal by flight was admitted at a quarantine centre in Imphal after he was found hanging outside the airport with his luggage, police sources said on Sunday.

The AR personnel has been identified himself as Rajinder Panwal Singh son of Kisan Singh of Uttarakhand currently posted at AR transit camp, Minuthong, Manipur.

According to a video footage uploaded in social media by him, he said, “I came from Delhi on Sunday by AirAsia flight”. He also said that he had informed one of his colleagues so he was waiting to pick up.

Rajinder was identified by the personnel of Kwakeithel police out-post. After the Singjamei police station was informed about it, Rajinder was admitted to a quarantine centre located at HRD Academy at Ghari, Imphal.
