Naga People's Front MLA of Phungyar Assembly constituency K Leishiyo has been elected chairman of Hill Areas Committee of the Manipur Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.

Secretary, Manipur Legislative Assembly, M Ramani Devi issued an official statement, saying that Leishiyo, a member of Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly, has been elected unanimously as chairman of Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly.
