NPF MLA of Phungyar Assembly constituency, K Leishiyo has tendered his resignation from the post of advisor to the chief minister.

A highly reliable source informed that the MLA resigned from the post to contest in the election for chairman of Hill Areas Committee, Manipur Legislative Assembly.
The election to the office of the chairman, Hill Areas Committee is scheduled to be held on Wednesday.

Leishiyo was appointed as an advisor to the chief minister on May 15 this year.
