Online classes for undergraduates to start from September 12

The online lectures will be telecast everyday at ISTV Nongin Channel at 11.30 am and telecast will be repeated at 11 am the next day,

Online classes for the second, fourth and sixth semesters of BA and BSc courses in colleges under the Manipur University and the Dhanamanjuri University will start from Saturday (September 12), the Federation of Government College Teachers’ Association (FEGOCTA) announced on Friday.

The online lectures will be telecast everyday at ISTV Nongin Channel at 11.30 am and telecast will be repeated at 11 am the next day, stated a release signed by FEGOCTA general secretary N Somorendro.

Except for Manipuri subject, the online lectures will be held in English language and the lectures will cover social sciences, science and humanities as well as history of Manipur, Manipuri literature and history of South East Asia, it added.

The online lectures will help in the learning activities of the college students and also those preparing for civil services and other competitive examinations. the release added.

YouTube link and the notes of the online lectures and other details will be available on the websites 'www.highereducationmanipur.gov.in' and 'www.fegocta.org', it stated.
