The Joint Action Committee against the brutal killing of Arambam Ranjan and the CVOs of Churachandpur had a joint meeting on Wednesday, where they resolved that peaceful and democratic forms of protests rally will be organised on September 10 to put pressure on the government for justice.
The protest rally will start at 10 am from Peace Ground, Tuibong leading to DC office, led by the JAC and Churachandpur CVOs.
The meeting also resolved to prepare a memorandum to be submitted to the state government to continue the pressure towards the law enforcement agencies.
It may be mentioned that the JAC has vowed not to take or cremate the dead body of Arambam Ranjan until the killer is found, for which the government had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh to those who find or lead to the arrest of the killer.
