No one should protect the culprits involved in the death of Arambam Ranjan who was murdered for some amount of money and the public should cooperate while tracing the culprits, stated Youth Development Center Club (YDCC), Keirao Bitra on Monday.
A released signed by president of Youth Development Center Club (YDCC), Keirao Bitra mentioned that YDCC strongly condemned the alleged murder of Arambam Ranjan, son of late Arambam Kumar of Langdum Mayai Leikai, Imphal East. He was a sole bread earner for the family and the culprits should be booked immediately to deliver justice, it stated.
It stated that the government should take necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from happening again in the near future. YDCC welcomes the assurance given by chief minister N Biren who stated that culprits will be booked at the earliest.
The local club is ready to extend necessary assistance for any steps taken by the people of Langdum and a joint action committee formed in connection with the death of Ranjan, it added.
Arambam Ranjan was a former employee of Writer SafeGuard and was killed by some unknown miscreants at Churachandpur headquaters last Friday during a robbery incident.
