The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) has opened an OPD for Sports Medicine at the PMR complex of the hospital on Tuesday.

The OPD is opened under the guidance of professor Y Nandabir Singh, a statement issued by the media advisor, RIMS N Philip Singh announced.
The OPD opened under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is the first of its kind for the state especially for the sportspersons, it stated.

Dr Y Nandadir Singh, Dr Ph Bhupesh and Dr Y Nngthemba will be consultants of the OPD throughout the week except for Wednesday as operations and interventions will be conducted on Wednesday, it added.
