Land donated for cemetery in Churachandpur

The land was donated to open a cemetery in remembrance of Luankhanniang’s late husband, Vumchinkhup, who was the chief founder of V Bethel village of Churachandpur district.

A land with an area of 260x150 square feet was donated to the Zou Youth Organisation (ZYO) on Saturday by Luankhanniang and her family.

The land was donated to open a cemetery in remembrance of Luankhanniang’s late husband, Vumchinkhup, who was the chief founder of V Bethel village of Churachandpur district.

The new cemetery was inaugurated by the president of United Zou Organisation (UZO), Chinlunthang in presence of leaders from Zou community’s frontal organisations.

As a mark of appreciation, ZYO led by its president Nangzathang organised a traditional feast and the chief of V Bethel village, Hausuankhai handed out the required document to ZYO.
