The Artiste Training Cum Educational Research Centre (ATEREC) is organising the 7th Open Patriotic Song Competition online and has invited applicants to submit their songs by September 20.
The applicants can submit their recorded songs in the email; okhundongbam@gmail.com or in the Telegram though Naba Nongthombam and Okendro Khudongbam, stated a release.
Any individual below the age of 30 within and outside the state can participate in the competition, it stated. A release by convenor of the organising committee Okendro Khundongbam stated that the competition will be organised with the theme, ‘Ereibak Nungsiyu, COVID-19 dagi Lapthoksi’ (love your home state, stay away from COVID-19). The competition aims to promote the hidden talents of the youths and spread patriotic feelings to the public, it stated.
Once the applicants complete their registration, the organisers will provide seven songs each to the participants so that they can select any of their choice, the release stated.
The 1st position holder will be awarded Rs 10,000 with certificate, followed by Rs, 7,000, Rs 5,000 along with certificates to the 2nd and 3rd position holder. Rs 1,000 each will be awarded to the participants securing 4th to 7th positions along with certificates, the release stated.
The songs submitted by the competitors will be uploaded in the Youtube channel, ‘Kanglei Thawan’. Any interested individuals can contact the organisers through the numbers 9774492955, 9856112918, 8575591112, 9089361090 and 9862100658, it added.
