The Manipur Art Festival 2020 has been cancelled in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown restrictions in the state.
The R&V Art House stated in a release the cancellation of the 2020 edition of the Manipur Art Festival which was scheduled to be held in the second week of September.
The Art House, however, intends to host the festival next year depending on the situation at the time, the release stated.
"There are lots of uncertainties to go ahead with the art festival this year, which would have been the 3rd edition organised by the art company in Manipur," the R&V Art House stated.
R&V Art House was founded in 2018 by Robin Wahengbam and Vijita Ningombam with the intent to promote artists from Manipur at the national and international levels, the release added.
