A total of 20 police personnel were awarded Manipur Chief Minister’s police medals for gallantry and Manipur Chief Minister’s police medal for outstanding devotion to duty.
The awards were delivered on the occasion of Patriot’s day celebration held on Thursday.
Awardees of the Chief Minister’s police medal for gallantry are sub-inspector (SI), Chongtham Dippe of Imphal West; jamandar, JC number 735, M Priyobrata Kkhuman of CID(tech); jamadar, JC number 753, Chingtham Dhaneshwor Singh of 8th MR/CDO-IW; head constable, Thokchom Sunil Singh of 8th IRB/CDO-IW; jamadar JC number 745, Md Zakariya of 4th IRB/CDO-IE; SI, Bheishamayum Debson Singh of CDO/IE; assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Kh Bonney of CDO/IW; havildar A Sashikanta Singh of 2nd IRB/CDO-IE; SI, Syed Ershad Ali; ASI, Lamabam Rajesh Khuman of IW; ASI, Moirangthem Kajao Meetei of IE; havildar h Gyanizail Singh of 1st MR/CDO-IE and jamadar L Thangminlen Khongsai of 3rd IRB/CDO-IE.
The personnel who are awarded for chief minister’s police medal for outstanding devotion to duty are inspector Kh Pathou Meetei of IE; SI Yendrembam Jayentakumar Singh of IW; SI W Ibomcha Singh of CDO, Bishnupur; SI Kh Bobocha Singh of IE attached to CID(S); havildar Ningthoujam Kiranjit Singh of 1st MR; havildar Ch Samsan of 6th IRB and SI Md Tarique Ali of CDO/IW.
The 20 police personnel were awarded on the occasion of the patriot’s day.
