The Communist Party of India (CPI), Manipur State Council on Sunday expressed condolence over the demise of its member B Shyam Sharma.

A release stated that CPI, Manipur state council secretary L Sotinkumar, L Lala, RK Amasang and others went to his residence and shared the grief of the bereaved family members.
He was the member of Khurai Local Council, it stated. They visited on Saturday as per the tradition, it added.

He took part in various activities and movements of the party, the release stated. The members fondly remembered his contributions to the party and the society, it added.
