After the inspection, a video statement was released in which MSF president Sazad Puyadmayum said that there are untoward incidents happening in the state after non-Covid patients are neglected by the hospitals.

The MSF has taken the initiative to inspect few hospitals and appeals were made to the hospital authorities to give equal importance to non-Covid patients, said Sazad.

Informing that many security personnel and health workers are reportedly victimised in their respective localities, he also appealed to the public to avoid such manners in the future.

Sazad further informed that they will continue the inspection at other hospitals, including government hospitals from Monday.

As observed every year by MSF on August 16, Students Martyrdom Day this year will also be observed on the same day by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), he added.
