The Mizoram government has announced resumption of class-12 board examinations for the remaining subjects from June 16. The exam was suspended halfway in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown imposed in the state to prevent the spread of Coronavirus infection.

The Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) stated in a notification issued on Wednesday that the examinations of Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) for remaining subjects - Economics, Chemistry, Sociology, Computer Science and Home Science - will be conducted between June 16 and 18.

About 4,700 students were appearing in the board examinations which was halted following the nationwide lockdown situation.
