Joint committee for public awareness on COVID-19 formed

The Manipur Home Department stated that the committee was constituted to facilitate greater awareness amongst clubs, meira paibis, civil bodies and the general public on measures.

The Manipur Home Department has stated that a joint committee for public awareness on COVID-19 is constituted to facilitate greater awareness amongst clubs, meira paibis, civil bodies and the general public on measures stipulated by competent authorities for containing the COVID-19 pandemic, for their effective implementation.

The joint committee consists of Yaiskul MLA Th Satyabrata Singh as convenor; deputy speaker K Robindro Singh as co-convenor; Sekmai MLA H Dingo Singh as co-convenor; president CCSK Jeetendra Ningombam as member; president KIM Khaimang Chongloi as member; president UCM Sunil Karam as member; president AMUCO Ph Nando Luwang as member; representative of UNC Ashinpou Gangmei as member; president LIPUL Th Somorendro as member; president HERICOUN L Ratankumar as member; president MMWO Abdula Phundreimayum as member; president Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur Nagaland) Athuan Abonmai as member and general secretary UCM Kh Athouba as member, said an order issued by the chief secretary J Suresh Babu.
