Due to heavy winds, electricity supply has been shut down till Wednesday. Many paddy fields in villages have been destroyed by the winds.

The farmers are in panic now, saying that their paddy will be ruined and their labour for the entire year wasted. They also fear that they will reap less food grains and face shortages this year.
