As many as 65 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Nagaland on Friday while seven more persons from Kohima recovered from COVID-19, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.
The 65 new COVID-19 cases included 41 in Dimapur, 21 in Kohima, two in Peren, and one in Tuensang, the health minister posted on Twitter.
With the detection of the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nagaland increased to 1,239.
On Thursday, Nagaland reported the highest single-day spike of 90 new COVID-19 cases, taking the state's total tally to 1,174.
