AMSU vice president L Thoiba Meitei while speaking to the media at the AMSU headquarter said it is very unfortunate that some businessmen are bringing banned items instead of bringing essential items during the COVID 19 pandemic time.

There is a big question of how such banned items are entering the state amid heavy security checking on the National Highways, questioned the vice president.

“If police are unable to seize such banned items then hand over the work to volunteers of AMSU, we are ready to do it with full effort,” asserted Thoiba. He appealed to all the transporters not to carry any such banned items.
