The Manipur Hawkers’ Association (MHA) has appealed to newspaper subscribers hailing from containment zones to contact their respective hawkers if they do not get their daily newspapers.
A release signed by MHA president Ajit Wangkhemcha mentioned that resolutions were taken in an emergency executive meeting held on Wednesday. In some containment zones, roadways are blocked and due to the reason, hawkers are facing problems in delivering daily subscriptions to the subscribers, it said.
Local clubs also made an appeal to some of the hawkers not to enter inside the containment zones, the release stated.
After considering the situation, the association has appealed to the daily newspaper subscribers to contact the respective hawkers if they want to get the newspapers, it added.
