Many staff got transferred to other departments and sections if they do not fall in line, the association said. It stated that they have been warned not to participate in any discussion initiated by the association regarding the outsourcing of 404 contract employees of RIMS added.

The transferred staff included those who are working in various committees constituted to fight COVID-19 in RIMS, those working tirelessly in catering committees and in-charge of preparing duty rosters of non-teaching staff, the release stated.

Some have been transferred to Bishnupur district community center, a branch of RIMS. A lady staff who applied for maternity leave was transferred to another department without sanctioning the leave, it added.

The lack of knowledge and experience in the higher up posts has brought bad names to RIMS, the release further stated.
