Nagaland on Saturday reported 22 new COVID-19 positive cases, taking the state's total tally to 978, official sources said.
Taking to Twitter, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said the new cases are among the 216 samples tested while adding that all new cases are from quarantine centres.
Peren reported 11 new cases, Dimapur eight and Kohima three, the health minister posted on Twitter.
"Out of 216 samples tested, 22 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 11 in Peren, 8 in Dimapur & 3 in Kohima. All cases are from Quarantine Centres," Phom tweeted on Saturday.
Of the total 978 COVID-19 cases, 405 patients have recovered from COVID-19 while the number of active cases stands at 573. No COVID-19 related death has been reported in the state till date.
On Friday, Nagaland reported 40 new COVID-19 cases of which 39 were from Dimapur and one from Peren.
