The Khurmi Naga Peoples ‘Organisation (KNPO), an umbrella organisation of nine Naga tribes and the frontal Naga civil bodies of Khurmi have vehemently condemned the “provocative cold blooded murder” of six NSCN (I-M) cadres by the by the Indian security forces at Nginu Village in Arunachal Pradesh bordering Myanmar on July 11.
The incident of murdering six NSCN (I-M) cadres is shocking and the claims of Indian security forces is an act of cowardice to create political turmoil, said a release.
The double standard policy of the government of India is the creation of pseudo Indian agencies, which adopts a mechanism to create periodical and sporadic incidents of conflict which may cause to disturb the peaceful atmosphere and subsequently delay the political process of finding political settlement, it said.
Even if the government of India agencies murdered the Nagas and how hard they may try to annihilate the Nagas, it may not yield the desired result, as the Nagas without borders have stood under a common political goal, it stated.
The Khurmi Naga Peoples’ Organisation (KNPO), nine federating tribe units of KNPO and its frontal organisations (Naga Students’ Organisation Chandel and Naga Women Union Chandel) have conveyed their condolence to the families of the deceased and pay respect to the departed souls for their sacrifice they rendered for the Naga people, it added.
