Manipur's COVID-19 positive cases reaches 1,450

The state reported 15 more COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours since Wednesday.

Manipur reported 15 more COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours since Wednesday, taking the state's total positive tally to 1,450, official sources said.

According to a release from COVID-19 Common Control Room, the 15 new cases include eight from Churachandpur, four from Jiribam and one each from Bishnupur, Imphal East and Tamenglong.

Meanwhile, six persons were discharged in the last 24 hours after they were found COVID-19 free on RT PCR test.

With this, the numbers of active and recovered cases are 651 and 799 respectively. The recovery rate is 55.1 percent, it added.
