Stop selling rights for money, time to choose right candidate: Former Manipur CM

Former Manipur chief minister Radhabinod Koijam on Sunday said that the people of Thangmeiband assembly constituency need to wake up in order to choose the right candidate who can bring better changes and should avoid selling their rights for some amount of money and benefits.

He was speaking at the launching of ‘Thambal Campaign’ for intending candidate of Thangmeiband assembly constituency Ramkrishna Koijam at Thangmeiband, Imphal West.

Thangmeiband assembly constituency is located at the heart of the Imphal city and the people should support the right candidate wisely, he added.

People of other assembly constituencies will not bother about Thangmeiband but it is the sole duty of its people to consider the ways to bring progress.

Intending candidate of Thangmeiband assembly constituency Ramkrishna Koijam who is also spokesperson of the state BJP said ‘Thambal campaign’ has been launched so that the BJP may bloom in the assembly constituency, and it will bring a huge impact to the educated unemployed youths who have been neglected for the past many years. Although Thangmeiband assembly constituency is located at the heart of the city, the people are still facing bad road connectivity and poor education sector, he added.

Former chief minister Radhabinod Koijam along with the intending candidate launched the ‘Thambal campaign’, starting from his residence located at Thangmeiband.
