BJP will return to power in Manipur: Piyush Goyal

The Union Minister arrived in Imphal on Saturday on a two-day visit to supervise party workers for the upcoming Manipur Assembly election due to be held in the first quarter of 2022.

Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal expressed his confidence that the BJP will return to power in Manipur in 2022.

The Union Minister arrived in Imphal on Saturday on a two-day visit to supervise party workers for the upcoming Manipur Assembly election due to be held in the first quarter of 2022.

Piyush Goyal was felicitated at BJP state office Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal in the presence of Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Social Welfare Minister Th Satyabrata Singh, Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh, Agriculture Minister O Lukhoi and state party president A Sharda Devi.

Goyal said it is the collective responsibility for each worker and member of the party, including both state and centre, to continue the BJP government both in state and centre for another five years. He said the election is an exam for the politicians and each one should put more and extra effort into a massive victory in the coming election.

While forming the BJP led central government, Manipur is also taking a major role and the BJP party will bring more development in the next 5 years in various fields including textiles, agriculture produced, fruits and others, he added.

Piyush Goyal further said in the last few years people have been witnessing various welfare developments brought by the BJP led government in various ways including highways of the state.

To strengthen the party and to remain in power for the next 5 years members of the party need to work with cooperation and coordination, said the union minister.

Later, Goyal also visited Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram Linthoingambi Girl’s Hostel complex located at Mahaballi, Imphal East. During his visit, he also interacted with hostellers.
