The Rayburn College in Churachandpur district on Monday felicitated its seven students who excelled in the recent BA examination conducted by Manipur University.
The seven meritorious students include a first position holder in Political science, Niangthianching from the institute and the remaining made it to the top ten ranks in various departments, including sociology, English and political science.
In a brief function held at the college hall, the toppers were awarded with a certificate and cash reward by the college authority along with the teachers led by the principal of the college Dr Khen P Tombing who congratulated the toppers.
He encouraged the toppers to pursue academic perfection and become an asset to their families, society and the nation at large. He further advised the students to inculcate good habits, as it will take them to higher levels in life.
