Nagaland COVID-19 cases climb to 636 as 11 more test positive

Of the total 636 positive case, active cases and recovery cases are 393 and 243 respectively according to the latest update by the state health minister.

Nagaland has reported 11 more COVID-19 patients, taking the state’s total tally of confirmed cases to 636, official sources said on Tuesday.

The 11 new cases are among those 313 samples tested, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom posted on Twitter. Mon reported 10 new cases, while the other case is from Kohima, he said.

"Out of 313 samples tested, 11 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 10 from Mon and 1 from Kohima," Phom tweeted on Tuesday.

Of the total 636 positive case, active cases and recovery cases are 393 and 243 respectively while there has been no report of COVID-19 death case so far, according to the latest update by the health minister.

On Monday, 35 new positive cases were detected, state Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said.
